We believe that every child is talented in some ways, therefore supporting young talents contributes to increasing social mobility and cohesion, to encouraging and disseminating innovation and creativity, and also serves the goals of economic growth and thus can also contribute considerably to achieving the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy. The topics of the conference are closely linked to the European Year of Volunteering 2011, also.
Hungarian priority of talent support is exemplified by the 20-year long National Talent Support Programme adopted by the Hungarian Parliament in 2008, along established policy guidelines and objectives laid down in the National Talent Program.
The Organisers of the Hungarian EU Presidential Conference on Talent Support and First European TalentDay would like to invite experts, decision makers and civil servants from ministries of different EU member states dealing with talent support. Leaders and delegates of the civil sphere from member states working in the field of talent support are also very welcome.
English and Hungarian interpretation will be provided during the conference.
